This agenda sets out the organisation’s initial research priorities in two streams: theoretical work on well-being and its measurement (including whether SWB scores are valid and comparable), and applied research on cause prioritisation using subjective well-being. On the applied side, it identifies poverty alleviation, physical health, and mental health as the causes to investigate first, with mental health flagged as a comparatively neglected priority warranting closer scrutiny.
